Thus, MCCFF’s mission is multi-folded with a pronounced emphasis on direct contributions to individuals in need instead of salaries and overhead, as well as, a focus on education.

MCCFF is 100% volunteer based and focuses on ensuring that our model of operation remains lean and overhead is kept to a minimum. We do not have staff or pay for offices. Our volunteers work out of their homes and use their own resources to get the word out and to lend a helping hand across the state.

As concerned citizens in the area focused on the flooding in 2022, we realized that our mission was to fill in the gaps left by other government agencies (such as FEMA), local foundations, and charities, whose mission was either limited or more focused on job generation for their organizations versus funneling funds directly to members of communities throughout Montana.

MCCFF’s curriculum is built on the idea that young people from all backgrounds need a comprehensive understanding of how our government operates and their responsibilities as citizens. The concept was simple: give students the opportunity to directly engage with the people and institutions of our government and they will develop the skills and attitudes they need for a lifetime of active citizenship.

Montana Concerned Citizens Foundation Fund

Montana Concerned Citizen Foundation Fund (MCCF) was created in response to the flooding that devastated the Beartooth Mountain area of Montana. However, MCCFF didn’t want to geographically limit itself to helping just one community in Montana or to focus solely on disaster relief.
