Neighbors Helping Neighbors When It Matters Most
Montana Concerned Citizens Foundation Fund was founded in 2022 after devastating floods left families and communities with urgent unmet needs. What started as local disaster support has grown into year-round service focused on recovery, resilience, civic education, and direct help for families facing crisis.
Resources to Programs
Most expended resources go directly toward disaster relief, community support, education, and recovery efforts.
Founded Through Service
MCCFF began by helping communities across Park, Carbon, and Stillwater Counties recover after severe flooding.
Norma’s Story Roscoe, MT
Norma Shultz is a valued member of the Roscoe community and part of the fabric that makes Carbon County strong. After losing her home in the flood, she experienced firsthand how difficult recovery can be when families are left facing debris, insurance delays, housing challenges, and uncertainty.
For months, Norma lived in a tent and later in a small camper beside the remains of her damaged home. Montana Concerned Citizens Foundation Fund stepped in with practical support, helping with recovery needs, mortgage relief, and debris removal so she could begin moving forward.
With MCCFF’s help, Norma was able to rebuild, regain stability, and restore a sense of dignity and hope.
“MCCFF helped restore my pride and dignity.”
Norma J. Shultz, Roscoe, MT
